Collaborations & Shows
Happy Socks x Mikey Imperial Silver lake installation
Following the success of the Happy socks collaboration for their Keith Haring limited edition set, we teamed up again for an installation at their brand new location in Silver lake, Los Angeles. This display, which spanned from November until early January of 2020 featured some of my most popular canvas paintings, as well as hand-painted mylar balloons, and the center piece of the installation were 5 hand-painted mannequin feet. Happy Socks wanted to make a splash in their new brick and mortar location, and get people talking… mission accomplished! I'm even told Quentin Tarantino was interested in buying one of the feet, this could just be a rumor though ;)
Happy Socks X Mikey Imperial photoshoot
When releasing their brand new Keith Haring limited edition sock set, Happy Socks a large high-end clothing brand, contacted me about working with them to create some content. They thought (correctly) that Haring was a big influence on my style and wanted to merge my style with their product for some highly engaging social content. The results came out incredibly and reflected the immense impact that Haring's work still has to this day, years after his death.
Mikey Imperial X Buzzed Puzzles
In 2019 I teamed up with Buzzed Puzzles, a start up gaming company from right here in Los Angeles to make some of the coolest and as i've been told, the most difficult puzzles that game night at your girlfriend's house has ever seen. Buzzed Puzzles founder Josh Sola wanted to make puzzles geared at adults, with more modern, and edgy designs than the run of the mill puzzles that are found in big box stores. Josh curated a small group of artist from across the globe, including myself, to make the first series of Buzzed Puzzles, and it was a smashing success! These puzzles flew off the shelf, and Buzzed is currently in talks with distribution companies to bring these awesome pieces to retailers across the U.S.
Legion of Bloom Cannabis art show presented by Ewkuks (curated by Guerilla One)
Los Angeles street art stalwart Guerilla One assembled a group of artists, both legendary and up and coming for a show celebrating the connection between cannabis and art. Hosted at Ewkuks gallery in West Hollywood, and presented by Award winning California Cannabis brand The Legion of Bloom, each artist displayed a custom made piece for the show. I had the pleasure of sharing in this show with legends some of the biggest name in the modern California art community such as Jim Taz Evans, Saber, Plastic Jesus, Thrashbird, Sebastian Walker, Phobik, Brandon Boyd (of Incubus) , and Tat2Shae.

The Underground art show
Curated by Teri Navajo, the underground art show spanned 2 months at the Flying Pig Gallery in downtown St. Petersburg FL. The show featured myself and 2 other notable artists from the region.
Clearwater Arts Alliance “Think outside the box" public art project
The Clearwater Arts Alliance, a non profit group with the mission of beautifying the city of Clearwater Florida with public art projects launched a concept to brighten up the downtown street. The concept involves using printed vinyl wraps featuring the artwork of local artists, to brighten up drab city utility boxes across the downtown area. I worked with them to feature my painting "The Streets are ours” on multiple boxes across the city. The project has been a smashing success, and even from California I continue to work with the Alliance.

Lululemon In-chalk mural
I was asked by international yoga brand Lululemon to do a custom large chalk board mural for their location in International Plaza. The mural was to blend their brand aesthetic with famous landmarks of Tampa Florida. The resulting work was so well received it stayed on display for more than 3 years.
Lululemon Sunset yoga live body painting event
I worked once again with Lululemon as a temporary tattoo artist for their Sunset Yoga event in St. Petersburg beach. Before the start of the yoga session on the rooftop of the Don Caesar hotel, i hand painted 30 temporary tattoos on the participants feature art and quotes from Lululemon. It was a wonderful time and the memories lasted for… at least a week depending on shower schedules.
